The truth is, whenever I see him, I forget about you for a moment. I see his crooked smile and his gorgeous eyes and I find I don't care if he has ruffled hair or spikey or dyed it blonde or if it's his natural brown. I snarl at those who say he's nothing; who say he's a joke. They don't know him like I do. Nobody does. Nobody else sat up with him until three A.M. trying to convince him not to pull a gun to his head. Nobody else gets to hear him say "You're my best friend." Nobody else smiles when he calls me pretty. They frown and they taunt and they only make him sink deeper into the ocean of which he's already drowned.
